TufTruck is at it again! No sooner than we’ve finished developing a stronger rear coil for the new Dodge 1500, we’re now at it again!!
We have just started engineering HD coils for the popular 2008 and up Dodge Ram 4500/5500 front end. The design is quite different from the other Ram coils we’re used to. These ones are substantially shorter with a smaller outer diameter and they are not a conical design.
Our philosophy is, if there is a demand for a solution to undersprung or under-height suspensions we will have a close look at it and engineer a robust solution that will satisfy the working man.
No wimpy springs here. We’re here to work and so are our springs. We’ve been supplying TUFF springs for domestic pick-ups for over 30 years now and we’re not letting up.
If you need real Heavy Duty coils for your Dodge, Ford, or GM truck, look to TufTruck for a solution that really works!!

Well it looks like spring is finally here. Officially it starts in a couple of days on the 21st of March. We’ve already moved our clocks ahead so it’s nice and light here till about 7:30 in the evening. So, what does all this have to do with us? Well, we are a SPRING company and our history tells us that people get busy doing stuff in the spring, and that includes working on the love of their life - their cars and trucks!!
One of the favorite things they do is modify the suspension - and that’s where we come in. We have almost 160 Yrs. of combined plant experience in making just the right springs for your vehicle. Yes, that includes our excellent quality TufTruck coils, superbly made by Chamberlain Spring as well as our high quality line of leaf springs made by Macspring. You may not even know it but chances are you, or someone you know has our springs on their vehicles right now. We make them, not just for our warehouse, but also for many of the biggest after-market distributors out there.
So, come on. It’s spring so let’s jack up the truck and junk those saggy wimpy OEM springs and put on something you’ll be proud of as you swagger down the highway.
Give us a call - that’s why we’re here!

Although we are a volume wholesale distributor, we do help out smaller customers when they need it. For example, when you want to replace a couple of rear leaf springs on the back of your Pick Up, you will need a few more parts besides the springs, to do the job.
At minimum, you will need a set of 4 u-bolts with hardened flat washers and high strength deep nuts. We’ll make them up for you on the spot, in as little as 5 minutes. Why can’t you just use the old bolts again? Well, most likely, they are too rusted to thread properly. Also, u-bolts stretch when properly torqued - Did you know that? That is important to know because……..this means that even if the u-bolts are not too rusted to use again, they CANNOT be properly torqued due to distorted threads. Don’t forget to re-torque the u-bolts after a week or so. They may loosen a little and you don’t want your suspension moving around on you.
If you’re lucky enough to not need completely new springs, we can help there too. Often, only the bushings need to be replaced. We stock most common rubber, brass, bi-metal and threaded bushings for most cars, Pick Ups and heavy trucks.
Ask us about shackles, spring pins and other suspension parts too.
We also sell repair plates (stock leaves) for repair shops. These can be cut drilled and formed to bolster or strengthen existing spring assemblies.
What makes Otto-Max unique is that, not only do we ship large volumes of springs all over North America, we also service local repair shops and distributors in the Greater Vancouver area.
Give us a call and see if we can help you.
